About the Opportunity:
The Senior Account Manager (Sr. AM) is responsible for the execution, performance, and day-to-day leadership of Amazon accounts ranging from approximately $1M-$10M in annual revenue. This role serves as the primary client contact and owns delivery across advertising, catalog, and operational work streams, ensuring strategies are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Operating within defined strategic direction, the Sr. AM translates priorities into action, manages complexity through strong prioritization and cross-functional coordination, and proactively resolves execution challenges to drive performance, retention, and account growth.
What You'll Do:
- Own end-to-end execution and performance outcomes for assigned Amazon accounts, including prioritization, pacing, and delivery quality
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, leading regular calls, updates, and ongoing communication
- Execute account-level strategies in partnership with Operations teams
- Translate strategic priorities into clear tasks, timelines, and deliverables across internal work streams
- Ensure advertising, catalog, and operational initiatives are implemented accurately and on schedule
- Lead execution for high-stakes planning moments such as Prime Day, Q4, launches, restructures, and turnarounds
- Identify execution risks, performance gaps, or operational issues and proactively resolve or escalate with recommendations
- Manage client expectations, priorities, and pacing to support retention and sustained growth
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely delivery across work streams
- Lead strategic planning sessions and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement or growth for brands generating $500k+/month in sales
- Proactively communicate solutions and recommendations for brands managing $50k+/month or more in ad spend
- Oversee billing processes and ensure accurate invoicing
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years in Amazon account management or a similar role, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central
- Proficiency in tools such as Amazon Ads Console, Seller Central, Vendor Central, Amazon DSP and AMC.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on work (e.g., ad campaign builds, listing reviews)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Proven success managing accounts with $10M+ in annual Amazon revenue
- Ability to lead client conversations and build strong relationships
- Competitive base salary: $90,000-$110,000 + variable compensation; OTE $110,000-$150,000/year (uncapped)
