The pay rate or range for this position is: $22.75 to 25 per hour.

Job Summary

As Site Supervisor at Denver International Airport, you will be supporting customer accounts, maintain them ongoing and grow them to their full potential. Duties will vary from assisting with customer inquiries and managing employees on site.

  • 1st: 6:00am - 2:30pm ($25.25/HR)
  • 2nd: 2:00pm - 10:30pm ($25.75/HR)
  • Supervisors will have Mon/Tue or Tue/Wed off

Essential Functions
  • Supervise employees and help delegate operations schedule to ensure proper work area coverage.
  • Evaluate performance of personnel and inspect assigned areas to ensure proper work performance. This requires hands-on support and ability to perform work when necessary. This may include, but is not limited to dust mopping, sweeping, stripping/refinishing, carpet scrubbing, servicing restrooms, window washing, etc.
  • Find and define problems, resolve issues, and use these in making appropriate recommendations to management staff, staff, and/or customer contact to exercise continuous quality improvement and to exceed customer expectations.
  • Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to Operations Manager/Operations Coordinator.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries and report any new or changing job/work orders.
  • Perform tracking and evaluation of purchasing activities, supply and equipment usage and repairs.
  • Ensure appropriate labeling, dilution, and storage requirements are conducted in accordance with company, customer, and OSHA standards.
  • Provide on-the-job training for staff/employees to job-specific tasks.
  • Participate in company and customer training ensuring effective communication and distribution of information to supervisors, customers, and employees.
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, customer’s rules and regulations and applicable laws when needed.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and high customer demand.
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work.
  • Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills (Soft Skills).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to lead others and motivate people.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team; an intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills, i.e. Excel, Word plus Gmail, Google docs, Google calendar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish desired.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three to Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the janitorial/facilities field.
Requirements
  • Clean DMV record.
  • Pass criminal background screening.
  • Employees assigned to airport customers are subject to airport screening requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear.

    Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 40 lbs. of office and facilities equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
