What Will You Be Doing?

The Analyst, Material Operations position has 3 key focus areas:
Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Process Improvements. The role will participate on cross‑functional teams to determine inventory needs and ensure inventory reporting accuracy. In addition, the Analyst, Material Operations will set up an inventory status and tracking program to continuously improve service level performance.

Essential Functions Demand Planning (40%)
  • Participate on cross‑functional teams to determine inventory needs based on planned demand.
  • Analyze historical usage rates and component failure rates, in conjunction with Recommended Spares Provisioning Lists to determine optimal stocking levels and allocated spares to support the airline operations and service levels.
  • Minimize on‑hand inventory.
  • Build team consensus on key inventory requirements and the decision‑making process for changes in stocking levels.
  • Issue requisitions to the buyers, answer questions, conduct reviews and resolve open issues.
  • Analyze existing inventory levels and open requisitions.
  • Work with operations to manage changes in stocking levels.
