Join to apply for the Business Manager Bookkeeper role at Aging Life Care Association®. Human Network Systems, Inc. is a private professional care management agency assisting seniors and disabled adults in maintaining or improving quality of life. The Business Manager oversees the company’s business activities related to human resources, payroll, data management, financials, and day-to-day operations. This is a small business environment (approximately 10 employees) with a focus on Accounting and Human Resources.
The role provides administrative support to the Directors and helps keep operations smooth in a fast-paced setting. Confidentiality is paramount due to handling sensitive employee and client information.
Competitive salary. Part-time position available (24 hours per week). Position is in-person only (Denver, CO 80222).
Responsibilities- General Business:
Oversee office operations; correspond professionally with clients and business representatives; redirect communications as necessary; prepare regular meeting briefings and notes. - Human Resources:
Aid in recruiting and hiring; obtain background checks on new employees; act as HR liaison and answer employee benefit questions; maintain employee files; prepare annual workers compensation audit; report injuries and maintain workers compensation and OSHA records. - Payroll:
Manage payroll through ADP Run online; maintain time sheets and leave requests; oversee hourly employee ADP Timecard entries; oversee payroll and 401k plans. - Data Management:
Review company insurance policies for renewal; perform data entry as requested by Directors. - Maintain Financials:
Support financial tasks and maintain company financial binders; prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and budgets for Directors using Quick Books; ensure timely payment of invoices and reconciliation of credit card statements; prepare and record bank deposits; review and file quarterly/annual income taxes. - Day-to-Day Operations:
Answer phones; assist with document preparation; perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years in an administrative or office management role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quick Books
- Ability to quickly learn internal data management programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience with multi-tasking and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Colorado Notary certification is a plus but not required
Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
