About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst, M&A Integration to play a critical role in integrating newly acquired service-focused businesses onto Proof’s proprietary platform. This is a highly visible, consulting-style role focused on discovering how a business operates, documenting its workflows, and designing the playbook for integration into Proof’s scalable technology ecosystem

You will regularly meet with business owners 60 days post-close, conduct onsite discovery, interview stakeholders, observe real-world workflows, map processes, identify gaps, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate operations into system requirements. You'll also present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, communicates with executive presence, and is energized by building structure from scratch. Experience in legal services, SaaS, marketplaces, or any workflow-heavy environment is highly valuable.
ResponsibilitiesPost-Acquisition Discovery & Analysis
Lead onsite and virtual discovery sessions with newly acquired businesses to understand their operational workflows, systems, and processes.
Build trust with business owners—often founders emotionally tied to their company—and guide conversations to uncover how work gets done today.
Conduct hands‑on observations of business operations to gather accurate operational insights.
Process Mapping & DesignCreate detailed process maps (flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, value stream maps, etc.) to clearly document current-state workflows.
Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, bottlenecks, and gaps relative to Proof’s platform and operational standards.
Develop future-state workflows and integration plans that align with Proof’s operating model.
Assess how current business processes align with Proof’s existing technology.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate workflows into functional requirements.
Recommend modifications or enhancements to Proof’s platform to support integration.
Executive Communication & ReportingPrepare and present findings, process maps, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Support the creation of a standardized integration framework that will be used for future acquisitions.
Autonomous, High-Ownership WorkOperate independently with minimal direction.
Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
QualificationsRequired Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in business process analysis, workflow discovery, operational consulting, or M&A integration.
Strong experience with process mapping and process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize complex information, and drive outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with polished executive presence.
Ability to interview business owners and stakeholders with empathy, curiosity, and professionalism.
Comfortable collaborating with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.
Ability and willingness to travel 25–50% to acquired business sites and occasional visits to a Proof Office location.
Preferred ExperienceExperience in legal services, compliance-heavy operations, or workflow-driven businesses.
Background in SaaS, two-sided marketplaces, consulting, or professional services.
Familiarity with post-acquisition integration activities.
Six Sigma or similar process improvement training (Green/Black Belt is a plus, not required).
Compensation- Salary range $85,000 - $115,000 based on experience and location
- Eligible for 10% performance-based annual bonus
