KEY REQUIREMENTS

* Some travel may be required WORK ENVIRONMENT The majority of the work is performed while sitting. The employee may occasionally carry light files, papers, and other office related items. MAJOR DUTIES
* Serves as principal administrative support position in the office of the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) and is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, considerable tact, discretion, and judgement.
* Controls the manager's appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, and answers telephones, and screens all calls and visitors.
* Reviews incoming correspondence and determines the proper course of action.
* Conducts research projects and prepares reports; proofreads and edits correspondence/documents.
* Screens publications, regulations, and directives which may be important to the office or members of the staff.
* Substitutes in the absence of the secretary to the other members of Executive Management.
* Ability to maintain efficient procedures and a system of keeping track of requested actions and reports, meeting strict timeliness and multitasking.
