Overview
The Land Technician provides administrative and research support to the Land Department. This role assists land professionals by organizing documents, gathering data, updating reports, and helping maintain accurate land records.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update reports tracking budgets, wells, leases, proposals, and broker activity
- Gather data from internal teams, external partners, and brokers to prepare and distribute reports
- Communicate with mineral owners, royalty owners, partners, and brokers to answer questions and collect information
- Organize calendars, deadlines, meetings, and departmental files (both physical and digital)
- Review leases to understand terms and restrictions
- Calculate ownership interests (WI/NRI) for wells
- Process invoices and route agreements for signatures
- Provide general administrative and research support as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data and compile reports
- Time‑management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Paralegal studies or related certification
This is an in-office role, temp to hire, and 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
