  • Assist students and guests who check-in at the front desk; and answer general questions and concerns to the best of your ability
  • Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, and forward calls to other departments as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Reading and writing correspondence and dealing effectively with a broad range of students, as well as staff, faculty, parents, and the public.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including de-escalation and conflict resolution.
  • Organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to equitably apply policies.
  • Ability to maintain the privacy of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and creatively as they arise.
  • A basic understanding of computerized databases and information systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher) is essential.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled graduate student at the University of Denver and located in Denver Area
  • Must have work-study
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
  • Standard office environment.
  • Unexpected interruptions may occur.
  • Location:

    Community Commons, 3rd Floor Suite 3001, suite hours of operation 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
Physical Activities
  • Occasionally move objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
