Position SummaryThe Project Coordinator will support a NIH‑funded study on LGBTQIA+ couples’ health and relationships early in marriage. Responsibilities include assisting the Principal Investigator and study team with all stages of research: IRB submission and maintenance, participant recruitment and enrollment, study visits, survey administration, remote data collection, data entry, cleaning, analysis, and report and publication preparation. Administrative tasks such as scheduling, note‑taking, record‑keeping, database management, and office supply purchasing are also required.
The Coordinator will work closely with project staff and participants and must have excellent interpersonal skills. This is a full‑time, in‑person position.
- Recruiting and enrolling participants.
- Administrative tasks: scheduling, record keeping, data collection, database management, purchasing office supplies.
- Attending administrative meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, data/file management, MS Word, Excel, copying, phone use, and data entry.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience coordinating research projects.
- Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Standard office setting.
- Unexpected interruptions and moderate to high stress.
- Quiet to moderate noise level.
- Work in front of a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional office/campus movement.
Full‑time (40 hours per week), in‑person. University of Denver’s full benefits package applies.
