Position: People Team Coordinator

Job Overview

We currently have an opening for an experienced administrative professional on our People Team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to work at one of the fastest-growing companies in our industry. In this role you will work on a variety of HR tasks and projects in an exciting, fast‑paced environment. We are seeking someone who is able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • First point of contact for People Team, responding promptly and accurately to inquiries.
  • Responsible for the daily coordination of administrative duties within the People Team.
  • Responsible for onboarding duties such as processing accepted offer letters, sending background check requests, tracking new hire details, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Provide HR database support, including entering new‑hire information, entering updates, and running reports.
  • Assist in processing employment terminations and separations, including collecting and analyzing exit interview information.
  • Support GEI’s Safety Program, including tracking/monitoring and assisting with set up of employees in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain People Team’s intranet content and documents.
  • Write content and communications for People Team including company‑wide communications, social media posts and related communications and proofread content.
  • Assemble and maintain standard responses for People‑Team related RFP and client inquiries.
  • Evaluate ongoing People administrative processes and recommend/implement changes where necessary or desired to increase efficiency.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of technology to improve department service offerings and efficiency.
  • Participate in and/or lead ongoing projects and programs within the People Team and GEI.
  • May be expected to travel nationwide on a limited basis.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Computer:
    Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (at least intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and database applications/HRIS. Previous experience with ADP preferred.
  • Experience:

    At least 5 years’ experience in an office environment;
    Human Resources or data entry preferred.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent. BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, English, Psychology or similar field preferred.
