What We OfferThe City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $60,064/year - $80,000/year, based on experience. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include, but are not limited to:

LocationThe Mayor’s Office does not operate remotely, and this position is an in-person role. We believe we can listen better, learn more, and act faster when we are able to build strong relationships in the same physical space. With this in mind, we do our work together in-person. We value in-person interactions. In this position you can expect to work on-site, primarily at the Denver City and County Building (1437 Bannock Street) in downtown Denver.

What You’ll DoThe Mayor’s Office is seeking to hire a Business Operations Administrator. This position will serve as a senior member of the Mayor’s Administrative Team and will support the Mayor’s Office Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief Operating Officers with key day-to-day operations, outreach, and executive-level administrative support.
As a Business Operations Administrator, you will be a cornerstone of the Mayor’s Office, providing top-tier administrative support and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This role requires someone at the top of their game—highly organized, proactive, and adept at managing sensitive projects, conducting in-depth research, and supporting high-level strategic initiatives with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
You will act on:
Administrative & Executive SupportProvide direct administrative support to the Chief of Staff and COO team
Manage complex calendars, including prioritizing meeting requests, coordinating high-level appointments, and ensuring alignment with Mayor’s priorities.
Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, memos, talking points, and briefing documents.
Coordinate travel logistics, reimbursements, and expense processing.
Operational CoordinationServe as a hub for communication across the Mayor’s Office, triaging inquiries, routing information, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Support the flow of materials for the Mayor’s schedule, including prep materials, briefing memos, and cross-department documentation.
Assist with project tracking, internal workflows, and deadline management for the CoS and COO team.
Help prepare agendas, notes, and action summaries for internal meetings.
