Lakeshore Talent is partnering with one of our Denver-based clients in a search for a Temporary AP Specialist. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable function. This position is responsible for processing high-volume AP activities, optimizing workflows, and maintaining strong internal controls while supporting the Company’s financial health. The AP Specialist will partner cross-functionally to support day-to-day operations, implement improvements, and help modernize AP processes.
This role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ramp software experience is required.
Pay: $25‑$30/hr
Location:
In‑office, Denver, CO
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm
Duration:
Temporary assignment, 1‑2 months in length
- Process high-volume vendor invoices end-to-end with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Review and validate invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and controls.
- Perform vendor account reconciliations, proactively resolve discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute weekly payment cycles (checks, ACH, wire transfers) ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain and update vendor records, including onboarding, compliance monitoring, and data quality.
- Support month‑end close by preparing AP accruals, analyzing accounts, and generating reports.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor escalations, fostering strong relationships.
- Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
- Ramp software experience is a must
- Deep expertise in AP processes, controls, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Net Suite experience a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or multi‑unit environments.
- Familiarity with vendor contract terms, payment scheduling, and discount optimization.
