Accounting Manager

Field Flō is a project management software designed by environmental demolition contractors to streamline business operations for subcontractors. The platform enables businesses to focus on bids, customers, and overall success by minimizing time spent on repetitive and administrative tasks. It offers tools to efficiently manage time tracking, crew tracking, safety paperwork, permitting, certification and skill tracking, warehouse ordering, inventory, and project closeout reporting.

We are seeking a highly experienced, Denver area hands‑on Accounting Manager to serve as our first dedicated accounting hire. This role will own the entire accounting function end to end and build the foundation for a scalable, audit‑ready finance organization.

Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate has deep SaaS experience, operates independently, and is equally comfortable executing journal entries as they are designing processes and implementing systems.

• Own the full accounting function, including AP, AR, billing, payroll coordination, and general ledger
• Lead and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Implement and manage SaaS billing and revenue recognition, including deferred revenue and ASC 606 considerations
• Oversee SaaS billing (monthly and annual contracts) and related reconciliations
• Implement, document, and continuously improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper classification of transactions
• Lead audit, sales tax filings, and main point of contact external advisor requests
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact across the business
• Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting
• Provide clear insight into working capital, cash flow, and operational performance

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful SaaS experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP, ASC 606, accrual accounting)
• Experience leading full month‑end close independently
• Demonstrated ability to build or significantly improve accounting processes
• Comfortable operating without a large team or heavy infrastructure
• Experience converting from cash to accrual / GAAP reporting
• High ownership mentality and strong attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA

• Experience in a startup or high‑growth SaaS environment
• Experience with system implementations or migrations (e.g., Quick Books to Net Suite)

Field Flo offers competitive compensation that includes a base salary range of $125,000 - $135,000annually.

Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and geographic market (for remote roles).
