Accounting Clerk

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Clerk to join a team in the Denver metro area. This person will be reporting directly to the Controller and have the opportunity to step in a new exciting industry within the Denver market. Qualified candidates with 1-3+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Expected starting base salary $20 to $25 per hour.

Job Description:

• Process payrolls, including timesheet collection via multiple systems and auditing the timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit Certified Payroll reports weekly.
• Assist with data cleanup, testing, documenting, and implementing during pending ERP Implementation.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains experience is a plus
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
