A financial services company in Denver is looking for a temporary Cost Accountant to support financial operations during a busy period. You will analyze and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, while preparing cost of goods sold (COGS) journal entries and performing variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills is desired.
