Our client, a leading professional services firm in Denver, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and maintain fixed asset records
  , including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with month-end close activities
  , including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Act as a backup for Accounts Payable
  , ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support audits as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience working with a large ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of GAAP principles.
