Tax Associate

We are a growing tax accounting firm in DTC area seeking an experienced tax associate with 4+ years of experience. We provide tax, accounting, payroll and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. We serve clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, real estate, retail and many others. The ideal candidate will become an important and productive member of our team.

We are seeking an Experienced Tax Associate for a full-time position at our Greenwood Village, CO office. As a tax associate, you will prepare a variety of tax returns, engage in support services such as bookkeeping and payroll, engage with client meetings and foster relationships. There is potential for advanced placement based on experience.

• Review and prepare income tax returns for all types of businesses as well as personal tax returns
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
• Help prepare and maintain client procedures
• Other projects and duties as assigned
• Our tax professionals typically work 40 hours a week during non-busy season, and 55-60 hours a week during busy season. The office has been closed on Sundays.

• 4+ or more years of experience in Accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Proficient with Quick Books
• Knowledge of Lacerte preferred
• Ability to work with a set of clients to get them set-up for bookkeeping and tax services
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and reliability
• Ability to successfully complete assigned tasks accurately, timely and consistently
• Flexibility to work longer hours during peak periods

Starting salary between $75,000 to $95,000
