Senior Auditor, Technology Industry – Wipfli

We are hiring a Senior Auditor, Technology Industry to join our team at Wipfli.

Hybrid work arrangement
: regular work from office, home, and client sites. Client visits may be local, regional, or national, and some meetings are required in‑person.

• Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients’ annual reports.
• Participate in pre‑audit planning to assess the risk of material misstatement and design effective audit procedures.
• Identify accounting and audit issues and conduct research to resolve them.
• Test internal controls, policies, and procedures and provide recommendations.
• Perform audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA, and SOX standards.
• Build relationships and communicate with clients and associates.
• Teach, train, and develop incoming staff and interns.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (must meet CPA exam requirements).
• CPA certification preferred; candidates pursuing CPA will be considered.
• 1‑3 years of accounting‑related experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work on multiple tasks.
• Adaptability to varying levels of client complexity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites.

Estimated base pay range: $72,900 – $109,300. Final offer depends on location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and applicable employment laws.

May be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and performance.
