** ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
** The AP Accountant is a key member of an extremely collaborative accounting team reporting to the AP Manager. This role applies principles of accounting to prepare and review financial information, prepares financial reports and completes accounting tasks primarily focused on accounts payable as well as the daily operations of the department.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role based in Denver, Colorado.

Annual Salary $62,000/year - $67,000/year
* Become involved in the operations of the accounting department including transaction processing, journal entry preparation and account reconciliation.
* Monitor the AP approval workflow process to ensure accuracy.
* Process weekly payment runs (EFT, Checks & Wires).
* Monitor a shared AP mailbox, reconcile vendor statements, & resolve any AP related discrepancies.
* Assist in timely month end closing procedures to include monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Ensure open lines of communications with vendors with a focus on building strong vendor relationships.
* Complete accounting assignments in an environment of intellectual curiosity, problem solving, accuracy and efficiency. Promote the Pursuit culture by maintaining a high degree of employee engagement.
* Develop relationships and with key internal and external partners across Pursuit
** REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
*** Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, or related Accounts Payable experience; accounting experience a plus.
* Experience in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Word required
* Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
