Our client, a leading professional services firm in Denver, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions and provide leadership within the finance team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.

• Lead and manage month‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
• Perform and oversee complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Staff Accountants
  , fostering development and accuracy in work.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger
  , ensuring proper coding and integrity of financial data.
• Support and coordinate financial audits
  , including preparation of schedules and liaison with auditors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and ensure compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• CPA designation or prior public accounting experience (preferred).
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
