This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and audit processes for the organization. The Senior Accountant will collaborate across departments and must possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.
Base pay range$85,000 – $100,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management.
- Work with the accounting team to ensure processes and controls are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Partner with FP&A and other departments to support budgeting and forecasting using accurate historical data.
- Drive process improvements, automation and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Net Suite experience a plus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

- Experience in a multi‑location food and beverage or retail organization.
- Experience implementing process improvements and system integrations.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or food and beverage environment.
The position requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accommodated with reasonable adjustments.
