The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and audit processes within the organization. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Location: Denver, CO. Address: 1720 S. Bellaire Street, Skybox Suite, Denver, CO 80222. Candidates should be comfortable working on‑site 4 days per week.

Compensation:

• Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 annually
• Bonus: 10% annual incentive target

• Prepare journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management.
• Work alongside the accounting team to ensure processes and controls are executed timely and accurately.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
• Partner with FP&A and other departments to support budget and forecast processes with accurate historical data.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Net Suite experience a plus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience in a multi‑location food and beverage or retail organization.
• Experience implementing process improvements and system integrations.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS).

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or food and beverage environment.
