We are partnering with a growing real estate organization to identify a Property Accountant who will support a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full‑cycle property accounting, working closely with operations and asset management, and owning the financials for assigned properties.

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties
• Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage CAM, operating expense, and real estate tax reconciliations
• Coordinate with property management on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Handle accounts payable and receivable related to property operations
• Assist with year‑end close, audits, and tax reporting support
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support lease accounting and tenant billings as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5+ years of property accounting experience (commercial or residential)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
• Experience with property management/accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, App Folio, Real Page, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines independently
