We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the company by facilitating financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, accurately entering financial and other business data into spreadsheets, databases, or software platforms, reviewing data for errors or inconsistencies, resolving discrepancies and performing other essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong mathematical skills and previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of charges and payments
• Enter financial data and transactions
• Analyze financial information
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations

• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in spreadsheets, Google suite, Quick Books, and basic accounting systems
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• High level of computer proficiency
