Responsibilities- Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information, complete testing and respond to questions raised.
- Perform substantive testing on client balance sheets and income statements.
- Test for deficiencies of internal controls and discuss recommendations for improvement.
- Learn and grow from direct on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring, and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
- Build friendships and strong work relationships while gaining valuable experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related business degree with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA exam in the state considered.
- Outstanding academic performance; preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration and problem solving.
- Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position.
