Tax Manager - Energy

My client, a global public accounting firm, is seeking to hire a Tax Manager due to growth within the energy portfolio.

• Leading and overseeing client engagements from inception to completion, including tax compliance, planning, and consulting for private equity-funded partnerships and public companies in the energy sector.
• Mentoring and developing senior tax accountants through hands-on training.
• Conducting tax research and providing consultation on client transactions and restructurings.
• Building and nurturing client relationships, while actively participating in networking and business development efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
• CPA or Bar license required
• Strong technical expertise in taxes for private equity-funded partnerships and public companies in the energy industry
• Experience with M&A transactions or a desire to gain exposure in this area
• Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus
• Familiarity with ASC 740 and public company tax experience is beneficial
