Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Tax Manager with Energy experience to join our growing firm. This role provides federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients, develops advanced knowledge in this niche, and trains and mentors other staff members.
Responsibilities- Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to energy clients.
- Develop advanced knowledge in the Energy tax niche.
- Train and mentor other staff members.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- A thorough understanding of individual, partnership, S‑Corp, C‑Corp returns, research, and general business planning knowledge
- Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
