We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Denton, Texas warehouse. This role is responsible for executing core warehouse functions including inventory handling, order fulfillment, and quality and safety compliance.
This is a hands-on operational role. The Warehouse Associate plays a critical part in maintaining efficient warehouse flow, product accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards while supporting both internal teams and external drivers.
Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations: Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, pick and stage orders, and organize inventory.
- Rotate products appropriately to maintain inventory accuracy and freshness.
- Assist with container unloading, reboxing, and occasional support of temporary staffing.
- Utilize ERP systems to support inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
- Safety, Quality & Cleanliness:
- Follow SQF (Safe Quality Food) practices and food safety standards at all times.
- Execute and maintain assigned master cleaning schedules.
- Support a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse leadership, and other departments.
- Support daily operational needs as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred; valid forklift or motor vehicle operator’s license a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems or ability to quickly learn ERP tools and product codes.
- Ability to make sound inventory-related decisions.
- Ability to converse in Spanish preferred.
- Ability to lift and stack up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
