Essential Functions
:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:
- Receive constructive performance feedback
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Obtain and sort orders by placing them on respective pallets.
- Load the appropriate trailer with the completed orders and making sure that orders are on the truck before a designated shipping time.
- Shrink wraps product to pallet to secure articles for shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jack to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping area to storage or truck.
- Label all shipping pallets with appropriate shipping labels
- Follow safety rules for personal protections and the protection of others; including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform quality audits on shipping cartons
- Run and maintain print and apply area
- Package and tape all shipping cartons
- Brick stack load all cartons on to the trailers
- Bill and provide packing slips
- Ensure accurate weight specifications for each outgoing carton
