Journeyman Electrician

Description of the role:

The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. They will work under the guidance of a Master Electrician, ensuring that all projects are completed safely and to code.

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and suggest necessary repairs or upgrades
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure efficient project completion
• Able to work within job schedule and plan ahead for material and labor needs

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• Prior experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job
