Overview

We are looking for leaders, specifically assistant managers. It’s a challenging role that requires judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask. You’ll work for a company that is fun and flexible, providing valuable work experience and opportunities for growth.

• Be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling (set or changing), maintaining a professional image, adhering to standards, delivering great customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability requirements for the position.

Many team members began as delivery drivers and progressed to roles such as assistant manager, general manager, franchisee, or Manager of Corporate Operations. Stores offer opportunities for career growth.

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You must be willing and able to work during inclement weather
• You must be willing to open and close

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
• Prepare products
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility regularly

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator acceptable)
• Must be able to make correct monetary change
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication to take/process orders
• Eye–hand coordination for precise movements
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks
• In-store temperatures range from cool to hot depending on area
• Occasional exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, and other typical kitchen conditions
• Cramped spaces (e.g., walk-in cooler), hot surfaces up to 500+ degrees

• Standing for most tasks; occasional walking, sitting at a desk, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying and pushing items, climbing stairs or ladders for signs or maintenance, bending/reaching tasks with varying durations
