Position summary:

Our fresh food associates help with the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. Your attention to detail and steady hand support a quality product and a positive shopping experience for members. You will be on the front-lines of customer service in the meat department.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; and maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilizes handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains work area according to company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses the Open Door Policy and applies these in business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; communicates progress and information; identifies improvement opportunities; adapts to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
