Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Launch and manage the Tourto Teach communication and collaboration processes across all levels, addressing store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, clearly articulating expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates using the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.

Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies, leading process improvements for a high‑quality customer experience. Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Oversee merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.

Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties, setting clear expectations and recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging. Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Respect the individual, build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.

Serve customers and members by delivering results, making data‑based decisions, balancing priorities, and driving continuous improvement through technology and learning.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements: successful completion of a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Required completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
