Quality Control / Manager, Quality Technician/ Inspector
The Quality Inspector I supports the release and shipment of conforming, custom built commercial trucks in accordance with the company’s established quality control protocols. They also perform quality control inspections, checks and verification tests of custom-built commercial vehicles. This includes visual, mechanical, electrical inspections, and system performance tests. The role aides the organization with commercial vehicle inspections through ongoing product compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities- Performs in-process and final inspections of aftermarket equipment installations; then performs functional tests for installed products as required.
- Produces thorough and accurate inspection reports, ensuring satisfactory documentation as evidence.
- Provides a consistent line of communication to the team to help ensure prompt resolution of defects and a high level of customer service.
- Detects, and properly identifies, non-conforming products and materials, according to company policy.
- Reads and comprehends quality related information such as Quality Alerts, deviations and recalls, etc.; where applicable, add daily inspection documentation.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with building or inspecting commercial vehicle up fits, or similar manufacturing or fabrication shop environment required.
