Licensed Vocational Nurses; LVNs​/LPNs

We are hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVNs/LPNs) for one of our clients in Denton, TX
.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Denton State Supported Living Center performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.

• Provide care for patients manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
• Perform computer data entry Receive full training.
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

• Must possess valid LVN license.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience
• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
• Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
• Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
• Must complete facility and HHSC required training.

• 6:00AM 2:00 P.M. (3)
• 2:00 PM 10:00 PM (3)

• Sunday Saturday
• Note:
  
  Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs.
• Able to start any day during the week, given 5 days before start date for processing all pre-employment requirements.

• 6-month contract

  The start date commences when all compliance and clearance requirements have been met by the selected candidate
