- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or active Compact RN license (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and manage multiple patients safely
- Provide high-quality patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit following hospital and nursing standards
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Perform patient education and discharge planning in alignment with care plans
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
