Overview
Registered Nurse / RN - PACU - Part Time, Mid Shift at Texas Health Resources
Location:
Texas Health Denton, 3000 North I-35, Denton, TX 76201
Work hours:
Part Time (24 Hours), Mid Shift 9:00am – 9:00pm. Call is required.

- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- 1 year previous PACU experience or Critical Care experience preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in inpatient recovery required within 90 days
- Respond to safety, physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
- Honor the worth of every individual with unconditional acceptance
- Understand others’ frame of reference and engage with patients and families
- Engage family/caregivers in health care situations
- Professional behaviors that support shared decision-making with patients and families
- Provide attentive reassurance and reliable care
