Licensed Vocational Nurse; LVN

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a state-supported living facility in Denton County, Texas. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide care, treatment, and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.

• Valid, unencumbered Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
• Ability to comply with facility and agency immunization requirements
• Ability to submit to required facility and agency drug screening and fingerprinting
• Must be available to start any day of the week
• Must allow at least five (5) days prior to the start date to complete all pre-employment processing
• Completion of all required facility and agency training

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments
• Deliver medication education and complete accurate documentation
• Monitor and support the general welfare of residents
• Perform computer data entry and electronic documentation (training provided)
• Comply with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards and directives
