Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead night shift operations in a high-output, fully automated bakery facility. You’ll oversee a team of 15–25 production associates, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while fostering strong team engagement.
This is an ideal role for a floor-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys developing people while driving results.
What You’ll Do- Lead and assign daily production activities to meet operational goals
- Monitor compliance with production, safety, and quality standards
- Conduct routine safety, GMP, and quality inspections
- Ensure equipment readiness and safe operation
- Build strong employee relationships and encourage teamwork
- Support training, coaching, corrective action, and policy compliance
- Operate and certify metal detection equipment (training provided)
- Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, QA, and leadership teams
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability and willingness to work night shift
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Completion of the AIB Bakery Science Residence Program
- Formal leadership or management training
