Full‑time shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Working as a Full‑time Industrial Services Band Saw Blade Fabrication you will be involved in the overall success of the department by supporting the manufacturing process of welded-to-length band saw blades. You will utilize various equipment to cut, weld, and finish band saw blades. This position also includes picking and packaging product, along with customer service in a very fast‑paced and productive department.

• Cutting, welding, and completing finishing processes of blades
• Packaging band saw blades for shipment to our branch
• Performing end‑of‑day tasks such as filing, cleaning, and filling supplies
• Following all International Standardization Organization (ISO) quality procedures
• Communicating with Fastenal stores and vendors

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Mechanically inclined
• Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer‑service oriented
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25 lbs–50 lbs and may weigh up to 100 lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Prior welding or grinding experience
• Previous experience using vertical or horizontal band saw machines
