Role Overview

The Vice President for University Advancement & Alumni Engagement & Executive Director for the Texas Woman's University Foundation (VPUA) will lead a dynamic and strategic advancement program. The leader will manage the entire range of development, alumni relations, and the foundation to continue to increase TWU's profile and philanthropic support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire range of development, alumni relations, and the foundation.
  • Increase contributed unrestricted annual operating revenue, endowment, scholarship funds, and athletics facilities.
  • Oversee and plan future campaigns, including closing out the current Dream Big campaign.
  • Lead and mentor a team to maximize TWU's position with current supporters and in new markets.
  • Create a compelling case for support and tailored engagement strategies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure major individual (including alumni) support.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of leadership in development or advancement programs.
  • Robust track record as a major/principal gift fundraiser.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful communications and fundraising campaigns.
  • Superior communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage a sophisticated advancement operation and a skilled fundraising team.
