As a Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak you will take on more responsibility in maintaining and installing Tetra Pak equipment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, gaining valuable experience while helping ensure food safety and operational excellence. You will be the first in the field to maintain food processing and packaging equipment at our customers' facilities, ensuring that food production keeps running for hundreds of millions of people in more than 160 countries.

What

you will do
  • Travel to customer sites to:
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations
    • Analyze technical issues and, when needed, use standard operating procedures to raise escalation
    • Train customer operators and support production efficiency
  • Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture within the team
We believe you have
  • A high school vocational school or technical diploma with hands‑on technical training
  • Up to 1 year of experience in maintenance or installation work
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time (can be edited based on market)
  • Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) are preferable
  • A customer‑focused attitude and a drive to improve
  • A growth mindset indicating a willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • A proactive safety‑first approach

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that, in good faith, believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $54,300.00 - $66,200.00.

Short‑term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay):
Eligible for a 10% performance incentive of ABS.
