Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

We are a boutique law firm seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in general civil litigation and personal injury, with the potential to gain probate experience, to join our team. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, file, and manage pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Maintain case files and track/calendar important deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and all counsel in a professional manner.
• Conduct legal research using Lexis Nexis.
• Order, review, and organize medical and legal records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation and/or personal injury (preferred).
• Knowledge of state and local court procedures; some federal experience may be required.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software (Practice Panther).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
