Position OverviewIntermediate-level position requires applicants to have hands‑on IT experience. Supports a wider range of systems and environments.
Responsibilities- Provide first‑line support via phone, email, chat, and walk‑up
- Perform basic fieldwork: pickups, deliveries, and in‑person support
- Deploy and image computers, printers, and other devices
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues across platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and services (Wi‑Fi, Canvas, Office
365, printers) - Participate in physical tasks (lifting, moving equipment)
- Provide support in classrooms and labs, including audio‑visual support
- Participate in small to mid‑scale project tasks and documentation
Experience troubleshooting software/network issues across platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and services (Wi‑Fi, Canvas, Office
365, printers).
Previous UNT IT experience as a student employee.
Physical Requirements- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Operating machinery and/or power tools.
