The Office of Admissions is a vital contributor to enrollment success through student outreach, recruitment, and personalized assistance throughout the admissions process.

Position Overview

The Office of Admissions seeks an Assistant Director, Graduate Recruitment to assist in strategic and operational activities for graduate student recruitment under the direction of the Director of Graduate Recruitment. The role involves outreach, planning and implementing university‑wide and on/off‑campus recruitment activities, targeting growth, collaborating with campus partners, and supervising the graduate admissions recruitment team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous Admissions Office experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of recruitment and admissions practices in higher education.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Ability to develop recruitment programs, create effective materials, and plan and coordinate group events.
  • Ability to collaborate and support diversity among prospective students, community constituents, staff, faculty, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain a personal credit card for travel reimbursement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field of higher education, student services, counseling, or a similar area.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Required License / Registration / Certifications
  • Driver's License.
Job Duties
  • Hire, train, and manage staff in graduate recruitment efforts.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and analyzing integrative communication strategies across multiple channels with key campus partners.
  • Plan and implement university‑wide on and off‑campus graduate recruitment activities.
  • Monitor CRM activity flows from prospective graduate students and manage staff in completing case assignments.
  • Assist campus stakeholders with developing and implementing strategic recruitment strategies.
Physical Requirements
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.
Environmental Hazards
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; occasional overtime and weekends.
