Overview and Responsibilities
Account Executive – Wound Care & Negative Pressure Therapy Sales

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking driven and experienced Account Executives with a background in wound care or negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) to join our high-performing sales team. As a national leader in home medical equipment and therapies, we’re expanding our footprint—and we need passionate professionals to help us grow our $600 million business.

In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with physicians, wound clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies to deliver life-changing solutions that support healing and recovery in the home setting.

What You’ll Do
Essential Job Functions
  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with healthcare providers and referral sources.
  • Promote Rotech’s wound care and NPWT solutions, along with respiratory equipment and services.
  • Educate clients on product benefits, patient outcomes, and service capabilities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic territory management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in wound care
    , NPWT
    , or medical sales
  • Strong clinical understanding and ability to communicate with healthcare professionals
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and relationship-driven
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Pre-Employment Requirements

To ensure the safety and integrity of our team and the patients we serve, employment is contingent upon:

  • Successful completion of a company-wide background check
  • Drug screening
  • A valid driver’s license in your state of residence
Education & Experience
  • A four-year college degree is preferred; however, a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales is highly desirable
  • Leadership experience in healthcare or other professional fields is a strong plus
Skills & Competencies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners across a defined territory
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English—both written and verbal—with physicians, patients, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate a helpful, knowledgeable, and positive attitude
  • Interpret and respond to a variety of communication formats and instructions
  • Apply knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively
  • Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Stay organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Technical Proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with email communication
