RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Patient ratios typically 4:1, may flex to 5:1 during staffing shortages

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH

Preferred experience:

preceptor experience and charge nurse experience

• Manage stroke patients, cardiac drips, patients on continuous bipap, and post-procedure patients

• Work with equipment including bipap, restraints, airvo, seizure precautions, bedside monitoring, and telemetry

• Perform procedures such as emergent thoracentesis and telemetry monitoring

• Use Meditech EMR system

• Work as part of interdisciplinary team with compassionate, team-oriented approach

• Unit has 25 beds with experienced staff of 54 FTE

• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 6 staff RNs, and 3 PCTs

• Must demonstrate integrity and willingness to help others
