Mortgage Loan Processor

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive In-House Mortgage Processor to support our growing loan pipeline and help ensure smooth, on-time closings.

The In-House Mortgage Processor will manage residential loan files from document collection through underwriting and closing preparation. This role works closely with the Loan Officer, borrowers, and third-party partners to ensure loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant.

This is a part-time role (15–25 hours per week) with flexibility based on pipeline volume.

• Review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Request and follow up on required documentation from borrowers
• Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting
• Manage and clear underwriting conditions
• Maintain accurate and compliant loan files within the LOS
• Coordinate with title companies, insurance agents, and other third parties
• Monitor timelines to ensure on-time closings
• Communicate clearly with borrowers and referral partners regarding documentation needs
• Support overall file flow and operational efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous mortgage processing experience preferred (1+ years ideal)
• Strong knowledge of residential loan documentation (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA preferred)
• Familiarity with AUS findings and underwriting conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with mortgage LOS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
