Requisition Summary

This position will manage activities to significantly improve on time deliveries from the PACCAR supply base.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
• Actively engage with suppliers to identify and resolve issues preventing 100% on time delivery to PACCAR manufacturing plants.
• Focus on low performing suppliers and drive actions to resolve the root cause of low performance.
• Develop and implement actions and strategies with suppliers, procurement, supply chain, engineering and quality to address supplier capacity, manufacturing and supply chain constraints.
• Support PACCAR manufacturing plants and service organization on major supplier issues. On site supplier problem solving support and ensure timely implementation of permanent corrective actions and resolution.
• Move between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with executive leadership and key stakeholders on status and resolution of critical supplier issues.
• Lead assessment of supplier capacity and identifies solutions to improve processes / equipment to improve output.
Qualifications
• Experience in Materials/Logistics, Plant Operations, and Manufacturing Processes.
• Experience dealing with supply chain issues
• Lean + Six Sigma Experience
• TRAVEL 75% - candidate would ideally be located near supply base
• Strong influencing, collaboration and relationship-building skills both internally and externally with suppliers
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, services and supply chain operations
• Manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
Education
• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of Supply Chain, Engineering or Manufacturing experience
• 1 year Lead experience

• 10+ years of Supply Chain, Engineering or Manufacturing experience
• 1 year Lead experience
