Continuing Education Instructor - Enrichment; PT

Job Overview

North Central Texas College (NCTC) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach non-credit courses for personal enrichment in various subjects, including Art, Cooking/Culinary, Creative Writing, Finance/Money Management, Gardening, Language, 3-D Printing/Robotics, STEM, Handicrafts, Health/Fitness, Hobbies, History, Jewelry Making, Music/Dance, Pets, Photography, and Recreational activities.

Classes are held evenings and weekends. The rate of pay is $22 per hour, up to 19 hours a week. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma and are subject to a criminal background check. Certification/unofficial transcripts are required in addition to the application, dependent on the class.

• Certificate or education required based on the class.
• Passion for the subject matter and the ability to enthusiastically share knowledge.
• Flexible, strong organizational, and community skills.
• Must be able to operate computers and other relevant technology.
• 2+ years of experience in the field of the topic proposed.

• Teaching experience with the ability to deliver course outcomes and content through a variety of teaching/learning styles.
